Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16 1984, at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and well-known comedians. Bea was on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly than her stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish writer, actress and stand-up comic. After appearing in bit parts in a variety of Irish and British TV shows from 2009, Bea was able to begin her professional career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. In 2012, she began to regularly appear on sketch and sitcoms. After her victory at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel programs. Between 2016 and 2017 she was part of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Team, and also a part-time participant of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. She was the child of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. She was the winner of the So You Believe You're Funny Award twice. Bea was awarded the award in memory of her father. Aisling Cliodhnadh, born March 16, 1984 in Kildare Town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was a veterinarian who worked with horses who died by suicide aged three. She did not learn the cause of death until 13 years later. Bea adopted the stage name Bea in honor of her father. She wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea (and her sister Sinead) were raised in the same home as Helen Moloney who was a educator and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. The family was fascinated by racing and horses. Bea started her journey as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that the race industry wasn't for her.
